ok so most people check in on riders site to see what cool stuff they’re up to and what new kit they just got and generally what’s going on, I’m not one to gloss over stuff but things are pretty naff right now, new stuff I got erm nothing, still quite early yet though, I’m still waiting to get my deal with haro sorted which should be done this week, the missus’s still thinks I’m having affairs, the atmosphere in my house is amazing right now.
Ok so day in the life, Saturday morning woke up early and headed out on a road bike ride with my mate Scott, got to the end of my street hit a patch of ice and ended up on my arse well straight on my elbow first, not a great start to the day, had a good ride just under 50miles, I’m actually feeling not as bad as I thought I would do my general fitness is ok right now, get home quick power nap and off to work, town was mentally busy, to say the door team was under staffed would be an understatement but the managers penny pinching and were top of the list, the bar manager yes I did say bar manager escalated an incident into a full on brawl, wild west doesn’t come close to this one, I ended up not were I wanted to be which was on the floor getting kicked in the head a few times, the guy who did kick me ended up looking worse than me think he might have had a few less teeth than when he came in, police came 20minutes later and did absolutely fk all as they usually do, so there you go just another Saturday.
Must get my head out of my arse and cheer up and try to be more positive. I think il make that my new year saying, peace out for now
